The conference will be held in-person at the\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.utcluj.ro\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Technical University of Cluj-Napoca<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The conference will bring together scientists, developers, and professionals to present their work, meet colleagues, discuss new ideas, and build collaboration between university, research center, and commercial sector research groups. The technical program will include oral sessions, keynotes by renowned speakers, and demonstrations of latest research on a wide range of topics positioned at the forefront of science and engineering in speech technology and human-computer dialogue.<\/p>\n<p>The past editions of the \u201cSpeD\u201d conference series were sponsored by IEEE and EURASIP (technical sponsors), the proceedings being indexed by the IEEE\u00a0<em>Xplore\u00ae<\/em>\u00a0Digital Library, Scopus, and the Web of Science Conference Proceedings Citation Index (the WoS indexing process has not been finalized for the previous 2023 edition). This year, papers accepted and presented during the conference will also be\u00a0submitted for inclusion into IEEE\u00a0<em>Xplore<\/em>, subject to meeting IEEE<em>\u00a0Xplore<\/em>\u2019s scope and quality requirements, and will be sent for\u00a0indexing in Web of Science.<\/p>\n<p>More information regarding the topics and the schedule can be found\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sped.pub.ro\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Joint event:<\/strong> this year, the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.racai.ro\/p\/lds\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Language Data Space (LDS) Workshop<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0organised by\u00a0the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.racai.ro\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Research Institute for Artificial Intelligence \u201cMihai Dr\u0103g\u0103nescu\u201d, Romanian Academy<\/strong><\/a>, will be co-located with \u201cSpeD\u201d.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The &#8220;SpeD 2025&#8221; conference website is now available.
